01 / About Us
Alphabastro Serviços em Pedra Ltda. is the controller of the personal data processed in the activities described in this policy. This means the company determines why and how that data is used to handle requests and operate this site. Our address is Rua Voluntários da Pátria, 190, suite 204, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 22270-010, Brazil.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email contato@alphabastro.site or call +55 (21) 98843-2617. This policy takes into account Brazil’s General Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709/2018, known as the LGPD. It applies to information processed through this site and contacts initiated through it.
02 / What Data We Process
The data varies depending on how you contact us and the choices you make while browsing. The form asks for your name, email and message; if provided, your phone number, neighborhood and service interest also become part of your request. If you email or call us directly, we’ll process the information you provide to understand and respond to your request. Please avoid including personal data that isn’t needed to describe the surface or arrange service.
- Contact Details
- Your name, email, message and any other information you choose to provide about your request.
- Technical Access Data
- IP address, browser type and access time, which may appear in the server’s technical logs.
- Cookies and Choices
- Consent preferences and, if authorized, data associated with the optional cookie categories described in the cookie policy.
The form does not ask for payment details, identity documents or sensitive personal data, such as health information. It also has no field for attaching photos. If you include this kind of information in a message, we’ll assess whether it’s needed to handle your request and may ask you not to send it again.
03 / Purposes and Legal Bases
Each use of data must have a specific purpose and a legal basis under the LGPD. We do not treat a service request as general authorization to use data for any other purpose. The legal bases applicable to this site’s activities are:
- Respond to and Assess Requests
- We use submitted data to understand the request, respond and, when asked, arrange steps before entering into a contract. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or preliminary procedures related to a contract at the data subject’s request, under Article 7, item V, of the LGPD.
- Operate and Protect the Site
- Technical logs help keep the site running, investigate faults and identify unauthorized access. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Articles 7, item IX, and 10 of the LGPD, taking into account the impact on visitors’ rights.
- Keep Records Required by Law
- When a rule requires a particular record to be kept, the legal basis is compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation under Article 7, item II, of the LGPD. This does not, by itself, expand the data requested in the form.
- Optional Cookies
- The optional analytics and marketing categories depend on your choice in the cookie notice. When enabled, the legal basis is consent under Article 7, item I, of the LGPD. You can reject these categories or change your choice later.
04 / Recipients and Processors
Information needed to handle a request is available to the people involved in responding to it. Providers responsible for site hosting, email or technical maintenance may process data on our behalf as part of their contracted work. If you authorize optional cookies, providers of the corresponding functions may receive the data needed for those functions. We describe these recipients by their role, without naming providers in this policy that are not identified in the site’s brief materials.
We do not sell personal data. We may also provide information to public authorities when required by law or in response to a valid request. When assessing any sharing, we consider its purpose and limit the data to what is necessary.
05 / International Transfers
Hosting, email or optional site features may involve storing or accessing data outside Brazil, depending on the provider’s infrastructure. An international transfer is not assumed merely because you visited this page. If one occurs, it must meet one of the conditions in Article 33 of the LGPD and the applicable rules of the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority.
Depending on the circumstances, safeguards may include standard contractual clauses approved by the authority or recognition that the destination country provides an adequate level of protection. We seek to limit the provider’s access to the contracted purpose. You can request information about whether your data is subject to a transfer through the contact channels listed at the end of this policy.
06 / How Long We Keep Data
We do not keep all information for the same length of time. Messages and contact details sent with a request are kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction about it, unless a legal obligation or the need to exercise rights justifies a different period. Technical server access logs are kept for up to 90 days, except where a longer period is required by law or needed to investigate a specific incident.
Your cookie choice is recorded for up to 12 months, or until you change it, so the notice does not reappear on every visit. Individual cookies may have different durations, as stated in the cookie policy where applicable. At the end of the relevant period, we delete or anonymize the data, subject to the retention grounds in Article 16 of the LGPD. A deletion request will be assessed against those same grounds.
07 / Your Rights
Article 18 of the LGPD grants rights to personal data subjects. To exercise them, email contato@alphabastro.site with a description of your request. We may ask for information strictly necessary to confirm your identity before disclosing, changing or deleting data. This check helps prevent someone else from accessing your information.
- Confirmation and Access
- You can ask whether we process your data and request access to the relevant information. Our response will follow the procedures and deadlines set out in Article 19 of the LGPD.
- Correction
- You can ask us to update incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data, specifying what needs to be corrected.
- Anonymization, Blocking or Deletion
- You can request these measures for data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in breach of the LGPD. We’ll assess the request and any applicable retention obligations.
- Portability
- You can request a transfer of your data to another provider, subject to the authority’s regulations and the protection of trade and industrial secrets.
- Information About Sharing
- You can request information about the public and private entities with which we share your personal data.
- Consent
- You can be informed that you may withhold consent and of the consequences of doing so. You can also withdraw consent at any time and request deletion of data processed on that basis, subject to legal grounds for retention.
- Objection and Review
- You can object to processing based on another legal ground if it breaches the LGPD. If a decision affecting your interests is made solely through automated processing, you may request a review under Article 20.
Confirmation that your data is being processed, or access to it, may be provided immediately in a simplified format. Where Article 19 applies, a complete statement must be provided within the legal deadline of up to 15 days. We will respond to other requests within the time limits set by applicable law and regulations, and explain if we cannot fulfill a request in full. You may also file a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD), Brazil’s supervisory authority, without prejudice to other ways of defending your rights.
08 / Security Measures
We adopt technical and administrative measures proportionate to the nature of the data we process and the risks involved. These include limiting access to customer service information to those who need it, providing guidance on the use of contact channels, and considering the protection of technical records and accounts used to operate the site. We also seek to ensure that service providers processing data on our behalf maintain controls appropriate to their tasks.
No system can completely eliminate the possibility of failure or unauthorized access. If we identify an incident that may pose a significant risk or cause significant harm to individuals, we will assess appropriate containment measures and notifications under the LGPD and ANPD rules. Please do not send passwords or sensitive data through the form.
09 / Children’s and Adolescents’ Data
The form is for inquiries about countertops, repairs, and natural stone care. It does not ask for the sender’s age and was not designed to collect children’s data. If a parent or guardian needs to make an inquiry about a property, we recommend providing their own contact details without including the child’s personal information in the message.
The processing of children’s and adolescents’ data must respect their best interests and the rules in Article 14 of the LGPD. If you believe we have received a child’s data without appropriate involvement from their parent or guardian, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
11 / Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our processing activities, site features, or applicable legal requirements change. The date shown at the beginning identifies the version currently in effect. We recommend reading this document when you contact us again, especially if you need to know how a particular feature uses your data.
If a change requires fresh consent for an optional purpose, publishing a revised version alone will not replace your choice. We will request the relevant authorization before carrying out processing based on that consent.
